Man breaches curfew, caught with drugs

A 19-year-old man who was out on bail was allegedly caught breaching his bail conditions around 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 15. The man was on bail in regard to a trafficking of controlled substance charge, and was subject to a curfew.

A 19-year-old man who was out on bail was allegedly caught breaching his bail conditions around 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 15.

The man was on bail in regard to a trafficking of controlled substance charge, and was subject to a curfew. As a result of breaching the curfew, he was taken into custody.

During a search after arrest, the man was found to be carrying four bags of cocaine, two oxycocet tablets, a morphine tablet, a cell phone, and money believed to be obtained by crime.

Part of the man's bail conditions, in addition to the curfew, were to not be in possession of drugs or cell phone.

He was to appear in bail court on Jan. 15 to face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of property obtained by crime, and three counts of breach of recognizance.
