Greater Sudbury Police are searching for a 40-year-old man who robbed the Clinicare Pharmacy on Lasalle Boulevard at gunpoint Tuesday evening.
The man walked into the dispensary alone around 8:30pm demanding Oxycontin. He pushed a staff member inside the store. After grabbing an undetermined amount of medication the suspect fled the store on foot.
Police established a perimeter around the area and the canine unit was deployed. However, the canine search was unsuccessful.
The suspect is described as a 40-year-old Caucasian male, about 5-8 with a heavy build and a reddish goatee. He was last seen wearing a dark ball cap and possibly a jean jacket.
