A 43-year-old man was arrested for fraud under $5,000 Jan. 9 after he obtained an item from a store and then immediately went to the customer service desk, saying that he wanted to return the item and get his money back.
The item in question was never sold or left the store before the suspect tried to fraudulently return it.
The man is being held for a bail hearing.
