On Thursday, March 8 at approximately 3:10 am, Greater Sudbury Police officers stopped a vehicle for driving offences.
During the stop, a passenger was found to be breaching a court order. Upon further investigation, the officers located amounts of cocaine, crack cocaine, prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia and cash.
Police estimate the total value of drugs seized was $1,120. The amount of cash recovered was $1,700 in Canadian currency.
A 46-year-old Greater Sudbury man faces charges of possession of cocaine , while a 47-year-old woman is charged with failing to comply with a court order and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possessing drugs and possession of property obtained by crime.
Both accused placed in custody and scheduled to make a court appearance Thursday.
