Marijuana grow-op dismantled

While conducting a drug eradication with the OPP helicopter, members of the Sudbury Drug Enforcement – Joint Forces Operation located a marijuana grow operation in Nairn Township.

While conducting a drug eradication with the OPP helicopter, members of the Sudbury Drug Enforcement – Joint Forces Operation located a marijuana grow operation in Nairn Township.

When officers attended the location to dismantle the operation, they found the suspect tending to the plants and he was arrested. A total of 180 large, fully-grown marijuana plants were seized. 

Charged with production of cannabis marijuana and possession for the purpose of trafficking is Murray Erb, 49, of Nairn Township. He is scheduled to appear in Espanola Court on Nov. 25.
