Medical emergencies caused motor vehicle collisions in two separate incidents during the morning of June 25.

At 8:45 a.m., a man driving a pickup truck on The Kingsway suffered a heat-related illness, and drove off the roadway, striking two vehicles in a parking lot. He suffered minor injuries, and was escorted to hospital.

At 11:45 a.m., a man suffered a medical emergency on Regent Street at York Street and went through a red light, striking another vehicle. The occupants of the second vehicle suffered minor injuries. The occupants of both vehicles were taken to hospital.
