The Greater Sudbury Police Services Board and the Greater Sudbury Police Service are in the process of developing their 2008-2010 Business Plan.
A major component of this process relies on identifying the policing priorities of the community we serve, and as such, are holding a series of community consultations to discuss policing and crime issues.
Members of the public are invited to attend a safety forum to be held at O’Connor Park for residents of Ward 12 and at Lockerby Composite School for Wards 1 and 10.
Chief Ian Davidson, representatives of the Greater Sudbury Police Services Board and other members of senior staff will be present and will provide information relating to many successes, including the development of our new Rural Community-Based Policing Model.
Councillors of the respective wards will also be present at the forum.
The forum for Ward 12 will take place at O’Connor Park, located at 140 St. Georges St. on Wednesday, April 4 starting at 7:30 pm.
The forum for Ward 1 and 10 will take place at Lockerby Composite School, located at 1391 Ramseyview Court, on Thursday, April 5, again starting at 7 pm.
