Greater Sudbury Police are advising residents to securely store snow machines after three more of the vehicles were stolen overnight Jan. 12.

"All three were taken from private yards and parked for plain view. The ease of stealing these machines makes victims often targeted out of opportunity," said a police press release.

"The black market for stolen snow machine parts has always proven very lucrative. This year's season, and excessive snow fall, has created an increased demand. Protect yourself and your machines."
