Night hunting snares Sudbury man 10 days in jail

A 21-year-old Sudbury man is facing 10 days in jail and a $1,000 fine after pleading guilty to trespassing and night hunting.
A 21-year-old Sudbury man is facing 10 days in jail and a $1,000 fine after pleading guilty to trespassing and night hunting.

On Wednesday, an Ontario Court of Justice heard that back on July 2, a couple complained that a gunshot was fired in their direction while camping. Conservation officers with the Ministry of Natural resources found the Sudbury man on the couple's property in Billings Twp.

The accused was on probation for a similar offence when when he was caught by conservation officers.
