Traffic is being alternated on Ramsey Lake Rd. Monday morning after a collision between a small jeep and a city bus.

Nobody was hurt after a collision between a city bus and a small jeep on Ramsey Lake Rd. around 10 am Monday morning.

Police say the jeep lost control and veered into the path of the bus, which was heading in the opposite direction.

Police alternated traffic so everyone could get by. Const. Bert Lapalme says the slippery winter driving conditions likely caused the accident.

A young man was driving the jeep and there were half a dozen people on the bus.

There were also several accidents on Highway 69 North this morning because of the weather. The highway was closed for some time until the vehicles could be towed.

Police are advising drivers to be cautious and reduce speed because of the slippery roads.
