UPDATE - The driver of the vehicle that failed to stop behind the vehicle waiting to turn left has been charged with careless driving.
One person is in hospital with minor injuries after two cars and a van collided on Howey Drive, around 10:40 a.m. Aug. 26.
According to police, the van was stopped on Howey Drive, waiting to turn left onto Downing Street, when one of the cars struck the van from behind. As a result, the van was pushed into an oncoming westbound car.
The driver of the westbound vehicle was taken to hospital, while the driver of the van was treated for minor injuries by paramedics at the scene.
The driver of the eastbound car has been charged.
