OPP have long weekend

The Sudbury and Espanola detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police conducted a road safety initiative during the Labour Day long weekend. Sixty-one drivers were charged and 70 received warnings. Two drivers were charged with drunk driving.

One offender was travelling at 151 km/h in a posted 90 km/h zone.

Another driver was charged for ?failing to move into another lane for emergency vehicle.? This driver was fined $490 and three demerit points.
