Manitoulin OPP officers will be on the lookout for ATVs on Manitoulin roads and highways.
Complaints of young people driving ATVs on the island's roads have been numerous. To drive an ATV on a road or highway, the operator must be 16 with a valid G2 driver's licence.
According to a police news release, young people are riding ATVs without proper licensing, registration or insurance. Officers will be checking ATV operators and issuing charges.
