A 58-year-old man suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle at the Lasalle-Notre Dame intersection earlier this morning. The roadway will be clear shortly, Greater Sudbury Police said on Twitter at 8:49 a.m.

A male pedestrian was brought to Health Sciences North after being struck by a vehicle at the Lasalle-Notre Dame intersection earlier this morning, Greater Sudbury Police said on Twitter just before 8 a.m. Friday.

The extent of the man's injuries are currently unknown. Traffic delays continue as police investigate the collision.
