Greater Sudbury Police have arrested a man suspected of leading police on two high-speed pursuits through the city's south end.
A 39-year-old Sudbury man has been charged with dangerous driving, flight from police, breach of probation and driving while under suspension.
On Dec. 18, police initiated the pursuit of a white GMC Jimmy that refused to pull-over southbound on Regent St. in Sudbury.
The pursuit was discontinued because the Jimmy was travelling at excessive speeds.
Police spotted the vehicle a short time later and continued their pursuit. The Jimmy avoided several spike belts and ran several red lights in the south end of the city. Police again called-off the pursuit for safety reasons.
