Police arrest three in drug bust

UPDATE: Shoris McIvor, 34, of Sudbury, was arrested without incident on April 1 and is facing three counts of possession for the purposes, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of property obtained by crime and possession of prohibited weapon. 

On March 25, the Joint Forces Drug Unit, which consists of members of the Ontario Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Section and the Greater Sudbury Police Service, executed a search warrant at a residence located on St. George St. in Sudbury.
      
Police seized the following items from the residence:

97.83 grams of Cannabis
433.29 grams of cocaine
50 Lorazepam pills
7 Tylonol 3 with codeine
2 Oxycocet pills
 $705.00 Canadian currency
Cell phones, digital scales, packaging materials, cutting agents and debt list
Bear repellant (pepper spray)

Approximate value of drugs and cash seized  was $45,000.00

Natasha Talbot, 36, Isaac Prisque, 25, and Douglas Spanish, 27, all of Sudbury face charges of possession for the purpose schedule I – cocaine, possession for the purpose schedule IV, possession schedule I – other drugs (two counts), possession for the purpose schedule II under three kg – marijuana, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 and unauthorized possession of weapon. 

Police have also requested a warrant for the arrest of Shoris McIvor, 34, of Sudbury  for the above-mentioned charges.
