Police find large marijuana grow op

Two people are facing multiple charges after members of various police services executed a search warrant at a residence on Perttula Road in Sudbury, and found a large marijuana grow operation there.

Two people are facing multiple charges after members of various police services executed a search warrant at a residence on Perttula Road in Sudbury, and found a large marijuana grow operation there.

Officers with the Ontario Provincial Police, Greater Sudbury Police, the Wikwemikong Trial Police and the UCCM Anishnaabe Police Service seized a quantity of cannibis marjiuana, cannabis resin, psilocybin, oxycodone tablets, suspected ecstasy pills and drug paraphernalia.

A 25-year-old Sudbury man was charged with two counts of production of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of property obtained by crime.

A 28-year-old Sudbury woman was charged with production of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking, four counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of property obtained by crime.
