Police investigating pharmacy robbery where large cache of powerful pills stolen

Greater Sudbury Police are investigating a robbery of Lively pharmacy Saturday evening, where a large number of powerful prescription drugs were stolen.
Greater Sudbury Police are investigating a robbery of Lively pharmacy Saturday evening, where a large number of powerful prescription drugs were stolen.

During business hours, unknown persons entered the Guardian Pharmacy located on Regional Road 24 in Lively and stole a large quantity of narcotics.

A further investigation revealed the responsible parties entered the store, made their way to the dispensary counter and when no one was watching, removed a large amount of narcotics.

The stolen narcotics include 184 Oxycocet pills, described as white in colour with the letters TEC stamped on each pill. In addition, 285 Endocet pills were stolen. They are also white in colour with the number 636 stamped on each pill.

Another 51 Oxycodan, described as yellow in colour with the letters TEC stamped on each pill, were also stolen.

These narcotics, if ingested, can have serious health-related consequences, say police.
