The Greater Sudbury Police Service say they are disclosing information about a 35-year-old male under the authority of the Police Services Act of Ontario in the interest of community safety.
Deputy Chief James Cunningham say William Leadley has been convicted of numerous sex and property offences in the past. Leadley has just been released back into the community after his most recent incarceration and had been living in the Niagara Region in southern Ontario.
Niagara Regional Police had issued a media notification to the
public on Leadley's release the first week of July.
Leadley is described as a white male, 182 centimetres in height
and weighing 73 kilograms. He has a slender build, with short brown
hair and blues eyes.
Leadley is bound by numerous conditions under the terms of two
probation orders, including he not associate with anyone under the
age of 16 and not have any contact with prior victims of offences
he's been convicted of. He is also prohibited from
possessing any weapons, firearms, ammunition or explosives.
He is also not to use or access a computer except for employment
services and he's not to attend any public park or swimming
area where persons under the age of 14 are present or can
reasonably be expected to be present.
He also can't attend any daycare centre, school ground, playground or community centre.
