The Greater Sudbury Police Service will be re-instating its Beat and Bike Patrols starting May 1 and continuing until September.
Officers assigned to the Community Response Unit will patrol
local parks and the downtown business sector, either on foot or
on bicycle.
In addition to providing an increased police presence and visibility in the downtown area, assigned officers will be responding to call such as liquor complaints, loitering, mischief and theft.
