Police arrested and charged a 23-year-old man with second-degree murder Saturday in relation to the death of Marcel Couillard, 51, who was killed on Melvin Street Nov. 3, 2015.
Police say the accused was known to Couillard, and will be held in custody, pending a future bail hearing.
“This has been a very complex investigation,” police said in a press release.
Police said they cannot provide further details on the case because the matter is now before the courts.
The 23-year-old suspect also faces a charge of breach of probation, and is scheduled to appear in bail court Monday, Nov. 16.
