“The history and growth of the Sudbury community is paralleled by the history and growth of the Greater Sudbury Police Service. Our staff has been, and will continue to be, instrumental in ensuring the safety and security of Sudbury’s citizens. This would be a great opportunity to renew memories and catch up with old friends," said chief of police Ian Davidson, in a release.

“A reunion is often the only means people have to rekindle friendships with those we have worked with in the past.  It will be great to see friends with whom we had established special bonds, friends who are no longer with the Service but fondly remembered” said Greg MacDonald, president of the Sudbury Police Association.
