A gas station attendant suffered a cut on his head after a struggle with a robber armed with an edged weapon.
The incident happened Jan. 29 around 8:50 pm at the Sunoco Gas Station on Lasalle Blvd. when the suspect entered the station with the weapon and demanded money. The suspect fled the scene after the confrontation with the attendant.
Police are looking for the suspect, who is described as approximately six-feet, 140 pounds with a thin build. He was wearing a puffy multi-coloured winter coat, a light brown ball cap, a hooded sweater and a black scarf covering his face.
