Police seize 151 grams of cocaine in South River

On Tuesday, Feb. 19, memebers of the Joint Forces Drug Unit, which is comprised of the Ontario Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Section and the North Bay Police, conducted a vehicle stop on Highway 11 in South River which lead to a seizure of $15,100 worth of cocaine.

Police seized 151 grams of cocaine, $815 in cash, lockblade knife and the vehicle.

Marc Chruszcz of Caledon is charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of property obtained by crime, and carrying a concealed weapon. He has been released on a promise to appear in court.
