Police seize $28,000 worth of drugs and property

A drug deal which took place in a vehicle June 23 led to the seizure of $28,000 worth of drugs and property. Greater Sudbury Police observed the transaction taking place, and stopped the vehicle to investigate the occupants.

Greater Sudbury Police observed the transaction taking place, and stopped the vehicle to investigate the occupants.

Two women and one man were arrested, and 245 grams of marijuana and $1,500 in cash were seized. The vehicle was also seized as proceeds of crime.

This led to a residence being searched by police. This search resulted in the arrest of another man and the seizure of 640 grams of marijuana, 260 grams of hashish, five grams of hash oil and $1,980 in cash.

All four suspects were due to appear in bail court June 24.
