Members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service Drug Unit
executed a search warrant at a residence on Fairview Avenue in
Sudbury shortly after 1 p.m. today. A search of the residence
revealed 35 grams of cocaine and 13 grams of marihuana with an
estimated street value of $3,600. Also seized is approximately
$1,000 in cash.
A 57-year-old female resident of Sudbury has been charged with
possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of
trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and
breach of recognizance.
She will appear for a video bail hearing on May 2.
