Greater Sudbury Police are investigating a drowning that reportedly happened during the evening of July 9 on Lake Wahnapitae.
The drowning was called in by a member of the public.
The Greater Sudbury Police Marine Unit is awaiting the arrival of the OPP Underwater Search and Rescue Unit to continue the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing, and further information will be released when it is available.
