Greater Sudbury Police have made a second arrest in connection to a Sept. 9 incident on Tedman Ave. in which a 46-year-old man was stabbed in the neck, suffering a punctured cartoid artery.

Police had already arrested a 49-year-old man accused of stabbing the victim. As a result of further investigation, police have concluded the 46-year-old man was the one who initiated the attack with the knife. During the fight however, police say the attacker was disarmed and stabbed by the 49-year-old he was trying to injure.

The 46-year-old was transported to hospital and will recover from his injuries. He now faces charges of assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
