On April 2 Greater Sudbury Police Service received a sexual assault complaint from a 14-year-old girl.  The youth had met a 24-year-old man on the Internet and after chatting online for a period of time, they met in person.
The accused male drove the girl to an isolated area and the two engaged in a sexual act.
After a combined investigation by the Greater Sudbury Police Service Criminal Investigation Division and the Cyber Crime Unit, a Criminal Code search warrant was executed at a Sudbury area home.
The accused was arrested and two computers and other associated items were seized. He has been charged with the following offences;
1.Sexual Assault
2.Invitation to Sexual Touching
3.Sexual Interference
4.Internet Luring
5.Breach of Probation
The male was scheduled to attend Video Bail court on April 10.
