Stolen power tools recovered

A 50-year-old Sudbury man has been charged after selling power tools that were reported stolen. Police say the man sold the tools to a second hand store Jan. 9. They were reported stolen between Jan. 5 and 7.

A 50-year-old Sudbury man has been charged after selling power tools that were reported stolen.

Police say the man sold the tools to a second hand store Jan. 9. They were reported stolen between Jan. 5 and 7.

Since then, police received a tip from the victim to check the local second hand store at which point the tools in question were located.

The suspect was located and arrested Feb. 13. He has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime, two counts of breach of probation and two counts of failure to comply with recognizance.
