Weekend of Oct. 26 to 28
Sudbury OPP officers issued a total of nine charges over the weekend. Six charges for Speeding, one charge issued under the Highway Traffic Act, one charge issued under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act.
On Oct. 26, Sudbury OPP officers also stopped a vehicle for speeding at 125 km/hr in a posted 70 km/hr construction zone on Hwy 17. The vehicle was stopped and a 19-year-old male driver, from Garson was charged with operating a vehicle on a highway while performing a stunt. He was issued a seven day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle was impounded for seven days. He will appear in Sudbury Court on Dec. 12.
