A hiker who got lost in the New Sudbury area has been found safe and sound.
Greater Sudbury Police sent out the following tweet at around 1 a.m. Monday morning:
“Missing hiker N of New Sudbury found safe & sound. A coordinated grnd effort by Tac, Uniform and Rural officers on snowmobiles.”
Police also gave a shoutout to their communications department “for keeping the lost hiker calm" through the entire ordeal until they were found.
