Sudbury woman accused of stealing identity

A 33-year-old Sudbury woman was arrested Nov. 3 after an investigation conducted by Greater Sudbury Police and Toronto Police Services. The woman is accused of having used another woman's identity several times while in Toronto.

A Sudbury woman has been arrested after a joint investigation between Greater Sudbury and Toronto police services. She is accused of stealing the identity of another Sudbury woman.

A 33-year-old Sudbury woman was arrested Nov. 3 after an investigation conducted by Greater Sudbury Police and Toronto Police Services.

The woman is accused of having used another woman's identity several times while in Toronto. Since 2004, the woman has been stopped and apprehended by police several times while using the false identification.

The woman who was impersonated is also a Sudbury resident.

The accused will appear in bail court in Toronto Nov. 4. She is being charged with several counts of personation and obstructing police.
