Greater Sudbury Police conducted a search of the downtown core of the city Aug. 14 at around 8:28 a.m. after a man was seen carrying what appeared to be a handgun.
The search “failed to identify any possible suspects,” stated a release from the police.
The suspect is described as 5-11, in his late teens or early 20s, with a skinny build, rotten-looking teeth and wearing dark blue jeans with a rip at the bottom.
His hand gun was described as tarnished and silver in colour.
The incident is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to phone Greater Sudbury Police at 675-9171.
