A 16-year-old Sturgeon Falls teen is dead after a snowmobile accident on Lake Nipissing on Jan. 23.
Mathieu (Matt) Martin was driving his snowmobile on the lake when he hit a large bump, according to an Ontario Provincial Police news release.
He was tossed from the machine and struck his head. He was wearing a helmet at the time.
Alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the accident.
A memorial group has been set up on Facebook under R.I.P Matt Martin.
