Theft at Home Depot

Greater Sudbury Police arrested a theft suspect in the area of Home Depot Saturday July 25 at about 8 a.m. A member of the community had called police to report that he had observed a theft from a vehicle.

Greater Sudbury Police arrested a theft suspect in the area of Home Depot Saturday July 25 at about 8 a.m.

A member of the community had called police to report that he had observed a theft from a vehicle.

The suspect was arrested in the area and found to be in possession of a tool kit that police alleged he had stolen from the vehicle. He was apprehended also to be in possession of a quantity of prescription medicine. Further investigation revealed the male misidentified himself as there was two arrest warrants in force for his arrest for failing to appear for court and Breach of Probation.

A 26 year old male resident of the City of Greater Sudbury is also being charged with Obstruct Police, Theft and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
