An admitted drug dealer was sentenced to 32 months in a federal penitentiary for his role in planning and executing a break and enter where 20 handguns were stolen from a residence and then sold to criminals. The total value of the guns and other merchandise stolen was over $55,000.
Justice Patricia Hennessy scolded Wayne Pilotte, 26, for his role in masterminding a break and enter at a McKerrow residence Jan. 13, 2004.
Hennessy found him guilty of 15 counts in total following a lengthy trial which ended before Christmas.
Pilotte was also found guilty of committing three other robberies.
