Thieves stealing items out of vehicles

Posted by Sudbury Northern Life  Greater Sudbury Police are warning vehicle owners about a rash of thefts of valuables from unlocked vehicles. Citizens can prevent these thefts by locking their vehicles and not leaving valuables inside.

Greater Sudbury Police are warning vehicle owners about a rash of thefts of valuables from unlocked vehicles.

Citizens can prevent these thefts by locking their vehicles and not leaving valuables inside.

"IPods, wallets, GPS units, cell phones and satellite radio systems appear to be the target of thieves. These items should not be left in unattended vehicles at any time."

Police ask anyone with information about these thefts to phone police at 675-9171 or Crime Stoppers at 675-TIPS.
