Third shoplifting incident leads to arrest

A 22-year-old man who was arrested April 11 after attempting to steal from a New Sudbury store is also facing charges related to a April 8 theft at Trek Jewelers in the downtown and a April 9 theft at a New Sudbury jewelry store.

A 22-year-old man who was arrested April 11 after attempting to steal from a New Sudbury store is also facing charges related to a April 8 theft at Trek Jewelers in the downtown and a April 9 theft at a New Sudbury jewelry store.

As a result of the three incidents, the man is facing three counts of theft under $5,000, one count of possession of stolen property, one count of assault and two counts of breach of probation.
