A 59-year-old man and a 25-year-woman are facing eight counts of drug possession after being arrested June 9.
Acting on a tip that someone was stashing drugs inside a vehicle, Greater Sudbury Police stopped the car at the corner of Regent and Bouchard St.
A search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of prescription pills, marijuana, cannabis resin and cash. Police seized $1,770 worth of drugs and $1,250 in cash.
Police are continuing the investigation and further charges are pending.
