Two men were walking through Memorial Park on Sunday around 12:20 a.m. when they were confronted and assaulted by an unknown number of men.
One of the victims received facial injuries, which required medical attention. The other victim had his wallet stolen.
Both victims were able to flee the scene and contacted police. The suspects had left the area before police arrived.
Greater Sudbury Police are requesting that anyone with information in regards to this robbery contact them at 675-9171 or Crime Stoppers at 675-8477.
