Two southern Ontario men face numerous charges after Greater Sudbury Police say they tried to defraud a local business Wednesday.

Two southern Ontario men face numerous charges after Greater Sudbury Police say they tried to defraud a local business Wednesday.

On Thursday just after noon, police say two individuals attended Staples Business Depot and attempted to purchase a laptop computer, valued at $1,400.

Staff members were suspicious of the identification and credit card being utilized for the purchase.

Police were contacted and numerous charges have been laid as a result of the investigation.

A 21-year-old from Ajax, Ont. and 20-year-old from Scarborough each face charges of fraud, uttering forged documents and possession and false use of a credit card. One of the accused is also charged with three counts of breach of probation.
