Two young offenders were charged with escaping lawful custody after walking off the property of the Northern Youth Services on Friday.
The 15- and 16-year-old young offenders were in the recreation area at the time. They were both reported missing from the facility.
Both young offenders were located on Sunday afternoon about one hour apart at different locations in the city. Both parties were taken into custody and charged with escape lawful custody as well as breaching their respective probation orders.
Both young offenders, who cannot be named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice, attended a bail hearing the morning of Oct. 27.
