Vandalism could have led to injury or death: police

Two electrical poles next to railway tracks had 25 guide wires cut some time within the last month, report Greater Sudbury police. Had the poles collapsed, they would have blocked the rails and could have resulted in serious injury or death.

The area in question, near High Falls of Highway 144 between Dowling and Levack, is Vale Inco property. It is accessible by a quad trail that goes through the area.
