On the night of Friday, April 25, into the morning of Saturday, April 26, unknown person(s) committed at least seventeen acts of random vandalism in the west end of the City of Greater Sudbury.
The crimes occurred on Victoria Street, Whittaker Street, Westview Drive, Hillcrest Crescent, Albinson Street, Douglas Street and Brennan Road. Person(s) responsible damaged and spray painted outdoor sheds, garage doors and vehicles. A rock was thrown through a window of Our Lady of Hope Church, located on Brennan Road.
Total damages are being estimated at approximately $10,000.
The Greater Sudbury Police Service is seeking any information that would identify the person(s) responsible and are encouraging the public to report any suspicious activity.
