Vehicle ends up on top of another after collision

A chain reaction collision occurred on Lasalle Boulevard at Auger Street during the evening of Jan. 29.

A vehicle stopped at the traffic lights on Lasalle was struck from behind by another vehicle. The struck vehicle was pushed forward, and came to rest underneath a third vehicle, according to a press release put out by Greater Sudbury Police.

The air bags in all three vehicles deployed, preventing injuries among the occupants.

Greater Sudbury Police are urging the public to slow down and give themselves additional time which driving because of the icy conditions.
