Woman tries to steal $200 worth of products from grocery store

A 24-year-old woman was caught by store security Aug. 29 at around 5:40 p.m. after she attempted to remove more than 30 products from Vrab's Independent Grocer on Regent Street. The products had a value of $200.

 A 24-year-old woman was caught by store security Aug. 29 at around 5:40 p.m. after she attempted to remove more than 30 products from Vrab's Independent Grocer on Regent Street.

The products had a value of $200.

Upon further investigation, Greater Sudbury Police found that the woman had been charged with robbery with violence in May 2009, but she had failed to re-attend court.

She was due to attend bail court Aug. 31.
