A 27-year-old woman was caught shoplifting at the New Sudbury Shopping Centre on Monday around 2:55 p.m.
The woman had shoplifted merchandise valued at $83.14 from two separate stores.
She was charged with theft and possession of stolen property.
At the time of the offence, she was at large on bail on unrelated matters. As a result, she was kept in police custody until a bail hearing scheduled for Oct. 28.
