Two youths have been taken into custody after being caught with stolen property.
On Tuesday morning, officers were called to a suspicious persons complaint in the area of Park Street in Hanmer. A check of the area led the officers to two young people who had been rifling through vehicles.
They were both arrested for possession of stolen property. Neither can be identified due to their age.
The suspects were found with a variety of stolen items. The owners of these items have yet to be identified. Anyone who has had something stolen from their vehicle is asked to contact police to claim these items.
