The 2009-2010 skiing season at Adanac Ski Hill begins tonight, Dec. 18, at 6 p.m.
The hill will be open between 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., and is located at 744 Beatrice Crescent.
Normal hours of operation begin on Monday, Jan 4. Special holiday hours are in effect until the normal hours take affect.
Operating hours at Greater Sudbury ski hills are dependent on weather conditions and may change without notice, advises a release from the city.
No information about the Capreol Ski Hill or the Lively Ski Hill seasons have been released.
Snow boards or skis without metal edges will not be permitted at the hills for safety reasons, advises the city's website. Those who wish to ski or snowboard but lack equipment can phone the rental shop during operating hours at 566-5064
